Family

I am a blessed man! My family is the living reality of ethnically diverse children loving, learning and playing together. They bring the future hope for a society built by better minds where racial hatred is unheard of and the prayer of Jesus that God’s will would be done “on earth as it is in heaven” is a reality. It would be a world that celebrates diversity, one where Thomas Jefferson’s words from the U.S. Constitution “all men are created equal” had no unseen asterisk next to them explaining equality as a benefit for the dominant culture only. Together we trust Christ for our futures filled with the wonder and adventure that comes when, by simply waking up, we find the dream to be a reality. Yesterday ended after a great time with my son and daughter fishing the Caney Fork River... and watching another of my kids go to a formal! They remind me of the 'day in day out' calling to think of others before myself... I have five great children who show me generosity each time I am with them...
